Getting through the week (and even out of bed) is hard enough without the weather fluctuating from chilly to warm to full blown arctic. But living in Brisbane means that temperamental weather is just the norm and what else to do other than learn to layer. A seriously underrated skill, layering is an art that once perfected can change lives. Not only will it make your whole get up a little more intriguing, you’ll be comfortable in virtually every climate (okay, maybe not every climate).
The key is to pick pieces streamline enough to not appear overly bulky when paired together. Tighter pieces on the bottom and more loose-fitting ones on top will help do the trick.
I made it through this weeks hump day with the help of my trusty striped maxi, grey turtle neck and leather jacket. Oh, and also with copious amounts of coffee courtesy of Jamies, of course.
